About ACTHYVE

ACTHYVE is a 18-month Coordonnation and Support Action which aims to:

  • Map, structure, and strengthen the European TI landscape across the full hydrogen value chain
  • Align TIs with current and future sector needs using a market-driven, technology-neutral approach
  • Foster co-creation and knowledge-sharing between TIs and industry ​

In order to:

  • Derisk hydrogen (H₂) technologies and accelerate large-scale deployment 
  • Strengthen Technology Infrastructures (TIs) to boost Europe’s R&I capacity and industrial competitiveness 
  • Support the acceleration of the clean energy transition in the EU 

Using a methodological approach structures in three phases: ​

​ Consortium

8 leading Technology Infrastructures operated in 8 different EU countries by:

  • 6 major European Research and Technology Organisations: CEA, AIT, FHG, TEC, TNO and VTT
  • 2 industry partners: SNAM, a large company and SENC, a SME
  • Operating Technology Infrastructures on the whole value chain of hydrogen and its derivatives

3 Key European associations:

  • Hydrogen Europe (HE)and Hydrogen Europe Research (HER), representing the majority of the EU H₂ industry and R&D actors.
  • CO₂ Value Europe (CVE), covering the CCU value chain, which includes e-molecules/e-fuels as derivatives synthesised from hydrogen combined with CO2/syngas

A consulting company, PNO, with some specific experience in the field of CSA in general and stakeholder analysis in particular​
